Hey there! It might seem trite, as does much communication on the internet, but I do appreciate you stopping by. This is a very small, DIY enterprise at the moment and we hope to keep it that way. Obvious that comes at expense to both finances and general exposure, but we'd rather honor our convictions in how we do business instead of taking the easier route.
Art these days lacks much of what it has throughout history: mutual exchange. The best artists throughout history made use of their contexts. They were supported by patrons. Each work or performance was bound to a physical moment and place and this meant art was inherently intimate.
It's certain brash to even aspire to reclaim a trace of that type of connection, but it's at the heart of what we're trying to do.
